This site contains images for over 300 landscape plants.  The plants are divided into the general categories of Herbaceous Plants and Woody Plants.  Within each category, the plants are listed in alphabetical order by genus and by common name.  The images for each plant are accessed by exposing the desired plant name in the list and then clicking the show button.  If cultivar images are available, small images will appear in the upper right window.  Clicking on one of these images will open an enlarged image in the lower right window.  Plants which do not have images yet available will be added in the coming months.

The purpose of this site is to assist horticulture students, nurserymen, landscape designers, and arborists with the identification of landscape plants typically found in the Midwest United States.  The lists in this site include plants from the Nebraska Certified Nurserymen Manual as well as plants recommended through research by the University of Nebraska Department of Horticulture and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum.
