     Gain experience in the operation of a botanical garden
including curation, propagation and garden and nursery management
Learn the use of taxonomic keys, accessioning, computerized
mapping, record-keeping and preparation of herbarium specimens.
Learn propagation methods, greenhouse operation and management of
highly specialized nursery. Learn garden maintenance including
pruning and planting techniques, garden renovation, disease and
insect identification and control. The RSBG has the largest
collection of rhododendron species in N. America and other divers
