It is important that as a member of the scientific community, graduate students attend Regional, National, and International meetings when feasible. Graduate students are encouraged to attend these meetings and present oral or poster presentation of their research. Funding for expenses involved in travel and participation is subject to availability of grant funds obtained by your major advisor. Sigma Xi has limited funds available for travel by PhD students. These grants are competitive. Announcements will be posted on the scholarship section of the bulletin board outside room 383. Contact your major advisor for these forms.
