Guidelines for Graduate Student Applications

Horticulture Graduate Degrees Offered
* Master of Sciences Degree in Horticulture - thesis or non-thesis (project) option * Doctorate in Horticulture and Forestry * Specialization in Public Horticulture Administration either as a:
- Master of Science - non-thesis option (project) or thesis option (research project)

Application Guidelines
For any degree:
1. Obtain Graduate Application from Graduate College.2. Send the following to the Graduate College:
a) completed application form
b) GRE scores
c) all transcripts
d) TOEFL (international students)3. Send the following to the Horticulture Department - Attention Horticulture
Graduate Program Chair.
a) letter of intent (specify which degree and area of interest).
b) three (3) letters of recommendation.
Admission Deadlines
* The MS / PHD Specialization in Public Horticulture Administration deadline is February 1 for fall semester admission.
* Other degrees - admission is generally rolling, however, for the best opportunity for funding, students should apply by October 1 for spring admission and March 1 for fall admission.
